• Pricing includes one pet portrait. Additional pets may be added for an additional fee based on size, pose, and overall composition.

• The number of pets that can be included depends on the artwork size and the animals featured. Larger animals, complex poses, or detailed compositions may require a larger portrait size to ensure each pet can be represented beautifully.

• Because every mosaic is handcrafted and uniquely designed, final pricing will be confirmed before work begins.

• All portraits are created from your submitted photos and may vary slightly from the reference image as part of the handcrafted artistic process.

Commission Policies

Payment & Deposits

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your commission slot. Work will begin once the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due prior to shipment.

Design Approval Process

A digital design mockup will be provided for approval before production begins. Minor composition changes may be requested at this stage. Once the design has been approved and production has begun, no revisions can be made. Changes requested after approval may require a new commission and additional fees.

Reference Photos

Final artwork quality is dependent on the quality of the reference photos provided. Clear, well-lit photos with visible facial features and coloring are recommended for the best results.

*The artist reserves the right to decline projects if the submitted reference photos are insufficient to create a quality portrait.

Artistic Interpretation

Each portrait is handcrafted and interpreted in a mosaic-inspired style. While every effort is made to capture your pet's likeness, slight artistic variations are part of the handmade process and contribute to the uniqueness of each piece.

Turnaround Time

Current turnaround times are approximately 4–6 weeks and may vary depending on commission volume and project complexity.

Framing

All portraits include a standard display frame and arrive ready to hang. Premium frame upgrades are be available upon request.

Shipping & Delivery

Customers should inspect artwork upon arrival and contact Tiles & Tails within 48 hours if damage occurred during shipping. Photos of the packaging and damaged artwork may be required for insurance claims.

Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the custom nature of commissioned artwork, deposits and completed commissions are non-refundable.

Portfolio & Marketing

Tiles & Tails reserves the right to photograph and share completed artwork for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested by the customer.
